Bible Broadcasting Network.
Selah Sunday School Class
Teacher: Alice Ryals; Bride’s Room
“This Sunday School class, “Selah” (which in Hebrew means, ‘stop and think about
it’ is studying Rick Warren’s book, The Purpose Driven Life. We spend a lot of
time reading, re-reading, and discussing God’s Word and how it relates to our
every day lives.
Son Seekers Sunday School Class
Teacher: Gail Cahan; Youth Room
We are a joyful, multi-aged, informal group who love to learn about Jesus. We
begin with a wonderful, mouth-watering breakfast snack, and then feast on God’s
Word. Presently we are studying a life guide entitled David, Developing a
Heart for God, by: Jack Kuhatschek. We faithfully bring prayer concerns before the Lord, with the
class joining in prayer for these needs. We’d love to have you join us!
Truth Seekers Sunday School Class
Teacher: Gail West; Room #2
Together, around the Scriptures, we study to know God’s Word, Will, and Heart.
Using the “Wesley Curriculum” we delve into the individual Books of the Bible,
discussing their historical meaning, as well as how their message relates to our
daily lives. (Presently, we are studying the Book of Isaiah.) We complete our
time together with prayer for our world and one another. If you are hungry for
God’s Word, please join us. We’d love to meet you and grow with you.

United Methodist Women
Tina Mullis, President
We are a community of women whose purpose is to know God and experience freedom
as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop creative supportive
fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the
global ministries of the Church. Our UMW meet quarterly on Saturday mornings at
9:00 AM beginning with a light breakfast. We then have a business meeting and a
scheduled program which includes guest speakers from time to time. We have three
friendship/service groups we call “Circles.” We would like to invite all ladies
to come and join us and see how God can use you in our group!
United Methodist Men
Lee Ryals, President
Our purpose is to provide an organized group of men dedicated to the ministry of
building men in the total ministry of the Church. We meet the second Thursday of
each month [except June and July] at 6:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. We invite
all the men of the Church, of the area, to come join us and see what Christ has
in store for you!
Emmaus Group:
Here at Trinity, more and more of us are attending the spiritual retreat called
the “Walk to Emmaus.” The Walk to Emmaus® is a spiritual renewal program
intended to strengthen the local church through the development of Christian
disciples and leaders. The Walk to Emmaus® experience begins with a 72-hour
short course in Christianity, comprised of fifteen talks by lay and clergy on
the themes of God's grace, disciplines of Christian discipleship, and what it
means to be the Church. The course is wrapped in prayer and meditation, special
times of worship, and daily celebration of Holy Communion. The "Emmaus®
community," made up of those who have attended an Emmaus® weekend, support the
72-hour experience with a prayer vigil, by preparing and serving meals, and
other acts of love and self-giving. The Emmaus® Walk usually begins Thursday
evening and concludes Sunday evening. Men and women attend separate weekends.

During Emmaus® and thereafter, leaders encourage participants to meet regularly
in small groups. The members of the small groups challenge and support one
another in faithful living. Participants seek to Christianize their family, job,
and community environments through the ministry of their congregations.
The Trinity Emmaus group meets monthly for lunch and devotions. A men’s reunion
group meets weekly for lunch, loving accountability, and prayer.

Bible Studies
Tuesday Nights 7:00-8:00 PM
“Life Enrichment Bible Study Class
Teacher: Alice Ryals; Bride’s Room
Our Bible studies focus on how God's word is still relevant for our lives today.
We are currently studying John Ortberg's book, "If You Want to Walk on Water,
You Have To Get Out of the Boat". We are learning that far too many of us have
put our faith in a casual Christianity that never compels us to leave our
comfort zones. But, deep within our hearts we know that Christ has not called us
to comfort, but to an exciting, sacrificial, and overwhelmingly fulfilling
faith. In this book, Pastor Ortberg teaches us how to step out of the "boat" of
casual Christianity so that we can faithfully follow the Lord who is calling us
out onto the risky, exciting waters of the high seas.
Wednesday Morning 10:00 – 11:00 AM
Teacher: Sandra Collins 386-328-4967
The “Ladies Bible Study” meets in the home of Sandra Collins (7201 Crill Ave.)
for an hour of prayer, Bible study, and Christian Fellowship. All ladies in our
community are welcome.
Thursday Morning Home Bible Study: 10:00 – 11:00 AM
Teacher/facilitator:
Pastor Gene; (Home of Francis McKenzie)
If you want to learn your way around the Bible, strengthen your daily devotional
life, make some great friends, and grow your
prayer life,
this group could be exactly what you’ve been hoping for! We meet in a friendly,
informal home-atmosphere. Here, we seek to experience the presence and
love of God
through prayer and the study of the Bible. We have a booklet of
daily
Scripture readings, which having prayerfully read throughout the
week, we then share where God has spoken to us. This time of sharing naturally
leads to a season of prayer where we meet God through adoration, thanksgiving,
and offering requests. Refreshments always follow. If you’d like to try us out –
and how we would love that, please call me, Pastor Gene, at 325-5272.
