Palatka Christian Service Center
386-328-0984 , 3218 Crill Ave. Palatka, FL.
Our mission is to take the Gospel to the mission fields of Putnam County. As we
meet the needs of those in the community who find themselves in desperate
situations, we always direct them to Christ, Who is the ultimate answer to their
situation. He uses us, churches, and other agencies to be His Hands and Heart.
We are “His Hands extended.”God has brought us to a new phase in the life of the
Center. We are currently looking for a piece of property to build a center that
will allow us to house a chapel, food bank, clothes closet, thrift store, play
room and clinic that would serve medical and dental needs.
Putnam Christian School
We are grateful that Putnam Christian School has chosen to
locate in our facility. We count it a blessing and a calling to support them
through prayer and encouragement.

Missionaries to Zambia, Africa
Delbert and Sandy Groves
www.newlifezambia.com
Delbert & Sandy Groves have served the copper belt in the African Congo since
1982. They have raised four sons and are members of the Pine Castle United
Methodist Church at 5024 St. Germain Avenue, Orlando, Fl 32812.
They have established 13 churches. Their C.H.E. (Community Health Evangelism)
ministry educates volunteers within a community to teach and train their people
in physical/ environmental areas such as water purification, sanitation,
agriculture, nutrition, maternal/ child care, home health care, and prevention
of basic diseases like diarrhea, worms, malaria, HIV/AIDS, etc.
It also includes training others in leading Bible studies.
The Groves have also established several newspapers. Their P.E.T. (Personal
Energy Transportation) program is a project to build three-wheel vehicles, since
so many people have lost limbs to war. In this way, they can become ambulatory
again.
In order to enable them to be more independent and self supporting, the program
is establishing banana farms.
A Guest House Ministry provides housing for visitors, since housing there is
scarce and expensive.

UMCOR (United Methodist Commission on Relief) is the humanitarian relief and
development agency of the United Methodist Church.
For 65 years UMCOR has responded internationally to natural or man-made
disasters--those interruptions of such magnitude that they overwhelm a
community's ability to recover on its own. UMCOR's mission is to alleviate human
suffering. We provide practical, proactive support to the most vulnerable
survivors of chronic or temporary emergencies due to natural or civil causes.
