TRINITY YOUTH MOVEMENT is an outreach ministry to middle school boys. We are presently centered around Trinity United Methodist Church and Beasley middle school. Through basketball we are able to teach love and discipline as modeled by Jesus Christ. We practice at least one day per week and travel to local tournaments. Our hope is to eventually have a county wide United Methodist youth league with teams in the different cities. We have bible study and prayer at our practices and the unchurched usually attend the services at Trinity UMC. Over the past six months we have seen three boys baptized and a fourth join the church. The opportunity to reach the youth for Christ is especially great at this time because of the government cutbacks. We must act now before something else fills the void and we miss this golden opportunity. Your help is greatly needed but your prayers are priceless.
